Abubis Linux

Anubis is a Linux distro that's designed to provide you with a lot of development tools and documentation, hence it's not "general purpose".
Anubis-Linux is a distribution based on SimplyMEPIS

It can teach you:
    * basic to advanced Linux usage & distro remastering
    * general, system and low-level programming (C/C++, ASM)
    * networking and network & application security concepts

What we\'re witnessing is the sad, lonely crowing of that last, doomed cock.

Anubis Linux Fork of AROS??? WTF
« Reply #4 on: July 30, 2009, 07:11:01 PM »
@ ThEcRoW

Saying that Anubis Linux is a fork of AROS is like saying that OSX is a fork for Windows XP.  Anubis has nothing to do with AROS except for the few developers who worked on AROS who left to work on Anubis.  Anubis is a Linux distro.  AROS has nothing to do with Linux.

But I did understand your question.  It's been months now since Anubis was announced and we've heard nothing, just as I had predicted.  I don't think anyone in the Amiga community (or other communities) were impressed to hear about another Linux distro.  Everybody and their mother has created a Linux distro.
