I still can't believe Nokia dumped Symbian for that piece of garbage after finally fixing the UI issues with the Anna and Belle updates.  I don't know what I'm going to do when my N8 finally kicks over.

I know one thing that you won't do, buy a Windows Phone!

I owned a Windows Phone. I got rid of the thing 2 weeks later. It was clunky, awkward to navigate, didn't allow me to hide things in folders (so I could organise it my way), didn't close software so it ate resources, the web browser sucked, had limited developer support, what support it did have meant prices were just plain silly, xbox live features just about worked and the platform just sucked in general.

Ok the folders thing might be petty but considering my Blackberry could do it then I can't see why Windows Phone couldn't.

Russia under Putin seems to be reviving the Soviet Union, perhaps Nokia will again have a market for it's boots.....
