Zip files and OS3.9
« on: December 13, 2009, 11:57:09 PM »
Unarc on OS3.9 can open zip files. No problem so far.

What i would like though is so that it can automatically load zip files when you click on the zip file, kind of like when i click on LHA files etc..

For some reason ZIP files do not have a default tool automatically.

Any easy way i can do this ?

Check if in ENVarc:sys there is a file called def_zip.info. If there isn't such an icon file, create one and set the default tool to unarc.

Edit:If it does exist, check if the default tool is unarc. (Select the def_zip.info file and choose icon-info from wb-menu. then look at the default tool and change it).
