This doesn't directly apply to your card, but is an interesting product - A3000 Zip<>Simm adapter...

http://www.amiga-hardware.com/showhardware.cgi?HARDID=1060

and an old review....

http://dk.aminet.net/docs/rview/AmiFast.txt

I wonder if the original developer is around or enough info exist to make more and some kind of version for your card.

BTW I used to scavenge zip chips from old Networth ISA 16bit UTP16 PC network cards (circa 1991) to use in my A3000's. Probably not much chance of finding those out side of a land fill these days, but keep your eyes open for old cards.

Since there are 16 sockets, the CPU needs 32 bit width and there's no such a thing as a 2 bit wide RAM chip, you'll need '4x' chips: 414256 (4x256K) or 414400 (4x1M) - depending on the RAM controller - in sets of 8. 4x256K would only give 1 MB, so the serious (and possibly the only) choice would be to use 4x1M - these are exactly the same as for an A3000. BBoAH states the card supports up to 8 MB (non-autoconfig), so that matches.

4x256K can be found on some old VGA cards, but 4x1M will probably have to be bought. Either take your time for ebay or ask Softhut, about a year ago they had them stocked ($40/4 MB).

thanks mate i'll ask software hut and see what they have.
