My Dad needs a Kidney, shoot me a PM, let's make a deal! I'd rather have a new kidney over this any day...

Has the XC compiler been ported over to HyperionOS or will tinkerers still have to use a windows/mac/linux machine to compile their binaries for "xena"?

Not sure Id have used "HyperionOS" as it makes it sound like an attack (whether it is or not I dont really care, far be it for me to tell you what to say or think), but that aside that's actually a pretty reasonable question. Seems crazy to have a novelty and not be able to use it properly from that machine.
Near as I can tell this is where I write something under the guise of being innocuous, but really its a pot shot at another persons/peoples choice of Amiga based systems. Unfortunately only I cant see how transparent and petty it makes me look.

So, you'll be getting one of the CUSA Amigas then?

No, hopefully a Natami. :)

Now, granted, this is the "limited edition" people.

So if it were an xbox game, knock off ten bucks and that will be the regular X1000 pricetag :D

Should be called "Collectors" Edition. Price is about right then. Sure the first re-sale will be around $3000-5000 dollars.

If you think retro is over-priced see how much a pair of "Limited" edition Nike Mag Trainers sell for. Cheap! and you won't take those out of the box (Devalues on first use).

Life!

Holy shιt, ~$2700 without OS, tax, or shipping? What, is it made of powdered unicorn genitals? Does it come with a side order of world peace?

They are always mentioning the price in UKP first, so I take it they will sell it from Great Britain? Well, EUR €1,950 + OS4 + Shipping/Handling + 20% British VAT on top of that, should make it land around the EUR €2,500 (just for reference: ~ $3,400) mark or beyond for European customers. Mind boggling!

$2682.56..... plus shipping.... a fool and their money are easily parted. That's just a crazy price.

Even if I was a millionaire I wouldn't buy it. Prices like that are just going hinder the uptake of next gen Amiga's.
