Description: This is the battery area of my Amiga 3000T.  I unsoldered the original battery and soldered in a coin battery holder and a diode.

Well, the Amiga computer actually did start in 1983, but it was not called Amiga, it was named Loraine.  Atari came out with their version of the Loraine computer 6 months before Commodore did.  Atari's Loraine was named Atari 520ST and Commodore's Loraine was named Amiga.  This was the reason behind the war between the two.

"1983-1994 Escom AG" printed on the rom chips...

Shouldn't that be 1985-1994? How odd....or am I missing something?
