AlarCity : new AGA Amiga shmup pre-orders open !

A new high quality AGA Amiga shmup is to be released in 2017 and pre-orders are being taken right now !

AlarCity is a top-down shooter described by its developer PixelGlass as a "frantic and strategic" shmup. An early demonstration of its survival mode was released in september. The complete game will feature :

- a campaign or story mode with various missions and sceneries
- numerous enemies contrary to this early technical preview
- an improved survival mode
- tons of weapons, bonuses, upgrades and effects

Several versions are available for pre-order :
- a silver one at a reduced price until the 14th of february 2017 (digital, physical or boxed with printed manual)
- a gold one with additional content

The videos looked good enough to convince me back in the summer without even trying a demo.  I'm looking forward to getting the boxed version with all the goodies.

@LoadWB: unfortunately no, there's no adjustment for 60fps and with the UI it's too tall anyway.

LoadWB I am able to play it on my NTSC A1200 if I boot to PAL display mode.  The game works great and is very fun! Can't wait for the final release.  I did an interview with Earock on my Twitch stream a while back.  There is an archive of the stream here https://youtu.be/SseLEC-e_dc I play AlarCity 1 Hour and 40 minutes into it if you are interested.  Hope you are well and maybe we will meet again at VCF SE!

It looks fun as hell, so I'm looking forward to trying it out.  Yeah, I plan to be at VCFSE this year, as well.  I'm bringing more TI stuff and should have some good Amiga stuff to show off, too.  Looking forward to hanging out again this year.
