Title: Having trouble with a game...

Hi, I'm really new to emulation. I've got some games going but with this one- Paradroid 90 it seems to be working at first but when the game is about to start I get a black screen and nothing happens. I'm not sure if there's a command I should do to start the game. I've tried several different versions of the game and they are all like this so there must be something I have missed. Any ideas?

Works here with my  oldest basic config file;
1 meg ram 1.3 rom 68k a500 speed 640x480
full screen etc. etc.

As to how to play it  I'm lost ??
