New Amiga Forever 2008 is the best yet!

For those of us who regrettably had to bury our Amiga boxes :cry:, the new AF 2008 makes it not so sad :-D
I recommend an upgrade for those of you who haven't done so yet. Besides the bunches of new demos and games,  I have yet to guru-meditate... a great new WinUAE too!
Overall, its much improved over past versions!

Though I haven't buried my miggies (A500, CDTV, CD32 and plain A1200) this would be a very nice addon.
I only have bought AmigaExplorer a couple of years ago, and that alone ROCKS! Together with BTTR it made my A500 relive big time.

Yes, I've been playing my new copy of Amiga Forever 2008 on my brand new Asus EEE PC 4G XP. Runs well and I use the Asus eee as a portable Amiga computer.

I will keep all of my ADFs in SD cards.

i did place my order on amiga forever 2008 over 1 month ago, but i have not got it yet? I did try to contact them but they have not answered my email. i have ordered stuff from cloanto two times before without any problems.
are there any cloanto people on a.org? If so please help me?.

I entered a contest last year, can't even remember which one, but I won and the prize was Amiga Forever 2008 Premium Edition.  It arrived two days ago, hurray!

I have always been a fan of Amiga Forever since it was first released and this latest release is the best.  This thread reminded me to grab the disc and test it out some more today.

I really like the player format and hope it will support more games and apps as it matures.

I'm also in that boat.
Ordered the download version and the link does not work.
Received no unlock key or any other correspondence and 3 emails later no reply.
Going through PayPal dispute right now  :-(
In the past I have sent questions to the tech department and never received a reply.
Their FAQ's and instructions are a bit lacking in detail so for non techies like me it is not so easy to get it running on non Windows machines.
I'm sure my problem will get sorted though and I look forward to running DPaint on my MacBook Pro very soon :-D

Shipments have only just started, I would be a bit more patient for another week.  It should be to you very shortly.

I have received replies to my emails within one or two days.

I hope your missing package arrives very soon and you get to enjoy the newest version of AF.  Sorry to hear that your download key is not working either.

A few years ago I had a similar issue, but after sending them an email, I got my CD set in the mail the next week.
Since I have the DVDs already, this time I just downloaded the ISO image and burned a AF2008 install CD. I had it going the same day.
Cloantro has always been responsive to my inquiries. I wonder if they got your emails...
It will certainly be worth the wait though!

 :idea: Oh, and for those of you with overheating :madashell: CPU issues (it used to happen alot when I ran a bunch of Amiga programs on AF), after installing a new Tuniq cooler, my AMD4800+ CPU runs like a kitten on primo catnip.  8-)

I love the Media Player-like interface
Boatloads of preinstalled games. Starbase 13. Sweet!!!
I'm in love.

I bought a Wireless Xbox 360 controller (for XP) and it works with AF2008 WinUAE.
