A new C64 game from saimo!
« on: August 11, 2015, 03:24:59 AM »
I know most of us here started off on the mighty 64 so I'm sure you'll enjoy this new game from saimo :)
--------------------------------------------------
Hi all,

I have just released the sequel of BOH and Huenison: it's called MAH, and you can freely download it from CSDb.

It  is an arcade game of a kind that has never been seen before on the C64  (the machine it is made for) - and probably on any platform. Like its  predecessors, it is a deep, demanding, and rewarding game. If you try  it, don't expect it to be a press-x-to-win game, nor to get a good idea  of what it is about after 5 minutes: the game develops through the  levels and you won't have seen it all until you finish it

Here are a few screenshot (however, no in-game ones not to spoil the fun):

Enjoy!

@klx300r

i don't have a C64 setup anymore, but i'll try this on VICE on my peg2 soon enough. huenison is one of the most bizarre, captivating, addictive games i've ever played. so i have high hopes. thanks for the heads up!

"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn’t have come here."

@ eliyahu

it works great with Vice & OS4.1FE here so hopefully it works fine on your Peg2.  MAH is definitely in line with Huenison and BOH before in that it's nothing like anything you've ever played before and you have that 'what the heck do I do now' feeling...another original for sure:)

note: read the manual..I know i know but seriously read it;) It will sound confusing at 1st but after figuring out what's going on in Phase 1 you start getting the frantic feel of the game and your eye/hand co-ordination figures things out and you eventually get that'''ahh" sensation

klx300r is such a wonderful supporter: today I opened my mailbox and found an email from him saying "Simone, I've made a post about MAH on AOrg"...

Thanks for the nice words about Huenison :-)
Whether you'll like MAH just as much is up to you to say, but those adjectives definitely apply to it as well!
