I installed MorphOS 2.2 and went thru the registration process but haven't heard a thing form the MorphOS team in several days. Do they typically take days/weeks to respond? I would like to get my keyfile soon and I'm ready to pay for it.

Isn't this the wrong forum? I would suspect you will get more attention at MorphZone.

Uh, no it isn't the wrong forum. This forum is for alternative operating systems for Amigas, MorphOS being one of them. Had I posted under "Amiga Gaming" that would have been the wrong forum. Certainly, Morphzone has more MorphOS users and I had already posted there as well.

Just meant more MorphOS-developers hang regulary at MZ (I hope) so you might get a quicker answer there. But I can see you posted at MZ aswell and got answered already.

I got my key within 72 hours after paying. If it has been longer than that I would contact their support people.

Except for the fact that all the best Amiga (and MorphOS users) hang out here most of the time.;)
A.org ROCKS!

Except for the fact that users won't help much in this case, only the devs who knows the registeringsystem ;)

Oddly, his question was posed to fellow Morphos users and not the devs. Asking how long they had to wait til their key arrived. If he found out that it takes 24 hours or a week, it just doesn't make sence to email support sooner than that.
I would also assume that there would be a notice of turn around time listed on the registation page.

It's not rocket science to figure out what 4 bytes to patch to get around it anyway. Just sayin (;

Get around what exactly?

I thought after several days of waiting it WAS time to contact the devs.

Yes, I don't think anyone was disputing that you were wrong in directing the original poster to MorphZone as a better place to find the MOS developers, but there are a lot of MorphOS users on A.org as well that could answer how long it took them to get a response from the dev team telling the OP how to pay for the registration and thereby get his keyfile sent to him.
So, in this case I think everyone was contributing helpful or positive comments, but with differing points of view. Not right or wrong.
@koaftder,
You trouble maker! That comment is sure to get the MorphOS Dev Team's attention and I think it is a rotten thing to suggest that it is easy, or even possible to circumvent the registration process for MorphOS and thereby suggest getting full use without paying for the registration. It is very generous of the MorphOS Dev Team to offer a time limited version for everyone to test for free, so I would hate to think of users abusing it by trying to "figure out what 4 bytes to patch to get around it anyway". So I hope you were only joking about knowing how to pirate MorphOS.
