That Starcastle is a sound game, too.  I remember it from the arcade.  This one beats, humiliates, and demoralizes me at least as well as the arcade version, too.  :P

Anyhow, this is starting to go recursive.  My distraction (Amiga.org) now has a distraction (the arcade...)  But, it's a nice addition.  Thanks, Wayne and Co.

oh, brilliant. some of those games are really quite enjoyable! :)

I have to say, I wasn't too sure about switching over to a new system but this vBullitien system has proven to be fantastic. Much richer amiga.org experience all-round I think! (from the personal blogging to the classifieds...etc etc)

really nice move Wayne. :)

Nice one brother!

But...  I'm thinking (philosophically) on rewriting UAE into a flash engine.
I posted this once and nobody bothered to answer.
Was: Mac Mini PPC running MorphOS 2.4
Now: Amiga Forever 2010 with AmiKit and AmigaSYS
Not used: Icaros Desktop 1.2 (reason: no wifi)
Planned soon: an OS4 system
Shortly then: a MOS notebook (wifi is a must-have)

I don't recall seeing such an idea, but it would be interesting.  AmigaOS via flash.    :)

I don't imagine you'd get away with an actual emulation, not in actionscript at any rate.

Having said that, there is a javascript 6502 emulator page out there somewhere. I just can't imagine someone writing a 680x0 emulator in a language like that :)

there's the original.

Allright, AmigaOS as a Service (ASP!!)

@ Karlos
who says I live in 2009, think about 2014 for example.  Or just decrease fps assumptions to 8, x86.64 only, make as much assumptions as you like and you're in five years' future (three maybe).

The arcade has been updated.

Specifically in the top 10 scores for each game, each member's top score is shown only once.  This means that one person playing the game 100x a day can't take over the top 10 scorer's board all by themselves.

You'll just have to play harder to move up  :)
