Do you plan on selling a 68040 or a 68050 in the future?

How about Amiga classic computers such as: A4000, A1200, A3000, etc are you ever going to be selling these computer hardware? Even an Amiga 500?

I think Amigakit is limited to what stock they can get.  As a reseller, rather than a manufacturer, they're at the mercy of the product creators.

I don't think I'd actually buy a 68040 or 68060 accelerator, as these new series of accelerators are perfect for my needs.  The 030, and even the 020 makes for an excellent WHDLOAD machine.

As for selling old systems, I think that shipping and warranty would kill almost all the profit margin.  Amigakit's business plan of only selling product they can effectively support is sound.

Great news :)
But why not use a 50mhz 030?

I believe it's down to availability and price of the 50MHz parts.

Is Amigakit ever going to make an accelerator or ram expansion that is designed for the Amiga 2000 or 1000?  It seems like everything made today is for the Amiga 1200 / 4000 or 600.

Toms 4MB fastram and a 4MB SRAM card on the 600 is good enough for plenty of whdload games on the A600.
But more is nice and it can be a pain to get your hands on a 4MB SRAM card.

Or the A2000?

Yeah, an 030 + lots of ram + a1200 compatible ide controller would be nice. There was talk about an A2000 cpu slot to a1200 accelerator adapter, but it sounded expensive (and I don't think any HD interface is included).

There are RAM expansions for A2000 and A1000 in production by Kipper2k. I guess AmigaKit might stock them... or approach him to make more.

If he combines his 8Mbyte RAM card with the IDECF68k as he planned then I can see it being popular with A1000, A500, A2000 and CDTV owners.

Does anyone have the 33mhz version.  How is the software/hardware compatibility?
