Yep, very weird. Waiting for Amigakit to get back to me, I see my ticket is assigned so will see what the next step is.

Will let you know what happens :-)

Yeah, we need an update.  I hope you got it.  Like I said in my earlier post, I was very frustrated with mine, until I discovered it wasn't plugged in all the way, but after I figured that out (with help from this board), it is working great.  If it was a bad one, I hope you got another one.  Let us know what you found out.

Well it's been awhile but I finally got my IndiECS back from Amigakit. Which is where the good news finishes :-)

I have a new A500 plus board (well you know what I mean), installed the Indi same issue only worse now.

Colours very bright and washed out

Now and then on boot a red screen and flashing led on the Amiga.

Indi tool has the buttons but doesn't show you the settings beside it. Click any of the buttons and the Amiga locks/freezes.

Horizontal lines now follow the mouse

Green flashing is a ghost image of what is on screen.

Connect up my Amiga maniac s-video and VGA convertor box works great.

My views on the Indi so far are not that great. Brings back the old term plug and pray.

So not far off holding a burning ceremony just need to borrow a handy cam for the moment.

Yep, stripped right back to just a motherboard, 68000 and the indivision. So a little puzzled.

What PSU are you using? Bad PSUs could cause visual problems like the ones you describe.

@ AmmoJammo - Sent it back and they said they knew what it was and applied a fix :-)

@ Crumb - Have tried a standard Amiga PSU and two ATX PSU's. A Pico and standard ATX.

Works fine if I'm using an s-video adapter, only get the problems when the Indi is being used.

Don't really want to go through sending it back again as last time it took two months :-/ Have updated them so will see what they come back with.

Another PSU 300W ATX, one board, one indivision, one monitor, nothing else. Same result.

I give up :-)

Is it possible you could record a video of the actual fault so we can all see what we're dealing with? If we could see it, some people may have a good idea where the problem lies.

A little hard to see the jelly (jello) wobbly screen and the entire screen flashing green really quickly.

Can see the lines and flicking and tearing :-)

Appears to be noise.  Make sure board is grounded and shielded.
Amiga 500 (like new in box) , Amiga 2000 (like new in box) , Amiga 2500 (like new in box) , Amiga 3000T (like new) , 2 - Amiga 500 Towers , AmigaOne with OS 4.1

This would be perfect in my Amiga 500 tower computers, but the price is too fracken high. Now if they were $59.95 I would buy two of them, but, over $100.00 each, screw that.  I am not stupid enough to pay that kind of money for one of these boards.  Places like AmigaKit, they really take advantage of you people, and they are laughing at you all the way to the bank.

I don't even know why I frequent this forum anymore... The rampant idiocy is beyond ridiculous.  It is a damned good thing that breathing is an involuntary thing as I am certain that if active THOUGHT was required many of you would be dead by now.

OK I will talk real slow for you so you hopefully won't miss anything..

As has been stated at least 20 trillion times on this board and many others, building hardware for the Amiga (or any other extremely limited quantity item) means that the possible sales of such hardware will be extremely low as well...  Low quantities means a higher price for each one as the higher the quantity sold the more you can spread the R&D, manufacturing, overhead etc.

Once again you guys bitch piss and moan that no one builds anything for the Amiga and then when they do you slam them for it and whine that they don't give it away.

I think the world is being taken over by Spock's (Dr. Spock, NOT the Star Trek one) children and you are so whiny, needy, spoiled and "Entitled" that you have moved into the land of absolute IDIOCY.

Oh and the answer is that if it is to pricey for YOU, just don't buy it...
but save the rest of us your self-centered opinions based on lack of thought or intellect..

It is too pricey, so, I will not buy it. I do not support greedy people. I worked in the electronics industry for many years, there is no reason for this board to cost more then $59.95, accept maybe greed. And to be frank, even $59.95 seems a bit high to me for what this is.

REMEMBER:  Greed was the main reason why Commodore went out of business in the first place.
