How is the Indivision AGA mk2 project coming along? Is there a working prototype yet?

I spoke with Jens Schönfeld on this exact subject.

The reply I got was simply "Hi, there is no release date yet."

Since you are on such friendly speaking/writing terms with Jens, maybe you can also ask him if he has any plans to create an ACA030 accelerator for the CD32?

Given the high prices for the few working SX32Pro accelerators (selling mine was one of the biggest mistakes I have made in the last year or so) for the CD32, I would think that such a product from Jens would sell very well and make him a tidy profit, if he can redesign his A1200 ACA030 accelerators to work with a CD32 compatible connection interface.
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)

From a thread on EAB just today.  ;-)

CD32 may be on the list "much later", but for now, I'd like to sort out the problems that people have with the ACA1230. So far, not a single person got back to me with information about their Budgie chip. If you expect me to do support, you should at least answer my questions. I can't possibly guess from a distance what kind of chips your boards have - work with me!

Further, we have to do a new production run of A603 cards, as they are sold out here, and only available at Alinea for the recommended retail price. This will also take up some time - I doubt that I'll have spare time for a CD32 expansion anytime soon.

Dont worry- as soon as the Indivision 1200 MKII is ready thsi year, we will be adding it to the AmigaKit webstores.   We will not take pre-orders until the item is actually manufactured.

Nothing confirmed yet, but it may be around the old pricing of the original Indivision 1200.

Amikit

Good news, cant wait to see that order button.

it would be nice if Jens would give some press release as to the status for the project. It looks like its getting slowed down due to aca 1230 support and further 630 runs?

CD32 accelerator along the lines of the ProModule with an extra socket for a PPC would be 100% WIN!

Wow, you are looking at the same thing.  I just saw this since scan doublers for the 1200 seem unavailable at the moment.  Bugger.

You can get external ones for like a hundred, but the Indivision does offer some nice things on top of just scan doubling

@Amigakit:

THAT'S GREAT NEWS!
