ADoom
« on: February 12, 2003, 01:48:14 AM »
Hi!

I just spent few hours playing good old Doom, but all this pixels started to be very annoying. I decided to start game in window mode, and just got stuck. OK, problem: what is argument for window mode, or a tooltype? I spend around hour and a half reading docs, but couldn't find anything... Anyone got a clue?

Hey, thanks in advance!!!

Regz,

From ADoomWos docs:
set Env variable AdoomWos/PiP
or ADoomWos/RTGMaster to use  RTGMaster. I didn't try.

rumours say these pixels are a part of the doom experience ;)
anyhow, i remeber playing the game in a window, with adoom, but thats long ago... you might try doomattack as well  it offers a nice configuration gui if i rember right..

I didn't have time to say thanx earlier, but hints that you gave me, worked out. I'm playing doom now in window, it's maybe a little choppy, but it's better than those pixels before. Yeah, I can remember when I saw doom first time... It was ugly, but beautiful in the same time. Exept Quake serials, there is no better 3rd person shooter game.

OK... anywayz... I gota kill some more pixels today... laters
