I'm getting weird website reaction to my logging in. If I'm at home page and login, it thanks me for logging in (which does nto happen if I type passwd wrong - then I get bad login message), but after thanking for login it takes me back to home page as if I was not logged in. Still has the login fields to fill in. So I think it didn't work. But if I go to a forum topic, at some point it starts showing my name as logged in, and I'm obviously posting this just now. But it's very weird.

How come some users seem to be loggin and posting away happily while others clearly still can't logon? The only way I'm able to post is thru the proxy server (on IBrowse no less!). I've tried all the usuall cache tricks on mac, a pc and the Amiga using http://www.amiga.org. Any word on a fix yet?

I was just now able to post to http://www.amiga.org from the Mac after I logged on to the proxy from iBrowse on the Amiga. Strange.

I can't log in from the main page. More acurately I don't stay logged in. It says I'm in, then forgets who I am. 3 different browsers, caches cleared.

If I click reply to post, I'm prompted for a log in again and then allowed to post.

We are reviewing several options to resolve this problem including but not limited to upgrading to vBulletin 4.2.0.

I am having the same log in problem to. Takes about five attempts, despite it stating "Thank you for logging in" before I see my details at the top of the page. Been like this for about a week now.

Edit.

Just posted this and it logged me out.

For the TL;DR crowd:

* Delete /core/install and /install directory in all 4.x and 5.x vBulletin installs or block access to same. Do it now.

I just need glue. Every post looks brand new. I read all of them. (Yesterday I ruined a motherboard. I had extra one. I redid it. I don't have many cookies.) It suggested to delete all the cookies. How can a computer that just got a new installation have cookies? :roflmao:

Anyone having logging in issues on Amiga.org after the hosting company did some routine maintenance earlier this week? If you are you can get around this by clicking remember me. We are trying to find out how wide spread of an issue this is so the hosting company can fix the problem.
i always have to go to a post  ..then log in  ..or it just ignores my log in ..saying that i get logged out an have to log back  in all the time latley

On Firefox 25 for Android I can log in and post comments.
On Firefox 25 for Linux I log in and it says that I am logged in until I click on a post and it shows that I am not logged in.  It doesn't even create a cookie.
