Also, I hate Settlers.  After many weekends of playing the real one with all the addons across multiple tables, and dealing with nasally voiced, neck beard, mouth breathing bastards, I no longer have any urge to play that game, ever.

That sounds about right

nice, reminds me of why I think your such a twat.

Methinks you haven't played tabletop settlers in the States if you think Arkhan speaks non-truth!

You called me a twat.  At least I didn't direct my name calling at anyone in particular. :D
I am a negative, rude, prick.

I'd love to play a modern Wing Commander type game on the Amiga, what ever happened to Lambda as well as RTS games, I wounder if Clickboom would open source Napalm so that people could first make a port for OS4/Morph/Aros and then add more mission packs like maybe the planned Euro Burns that would be cool.

Other than that puzzle games like lemmings, I've always loved Push Over as well. Good fun mind thinking games. Do you think world of goo would ever come on Amiga? Maybe someone could make a game similar and call it world of boing balls!

Yep, I'm missing strategy games/space sims.

I like to see Frontier First Encounters for the Amiga.
Also a sequel to Millenium 2.2 / Deutors.
Utopia III ?

I can think of more, but this is what I like to see.

What about strategy games? Like Settlers, Foundation, Napalm, etc
I prefer them above all other genres. :)

Can you do a mix? Horizontal platform game with lots of RPG elements. Did you play Batman the movie and Robocop... I love how it includes minigames between levels.

I really liked the mix of stategy/world sim and side scroller they used in Actraiser for the SNES...

More games like that would be cool!

I don't even remember what I wrote to be honest, but, lighten up, sissy.

You just can't keep it polite, can you?....

Damn... the one time I fall asleep and Arkhan starts a thread... :(

What's all these nasty bad words he's been using (I missed them)... :(

Dunno why some folk find such things offensive, after all they are nothing more than a collection of letters from the alphabet, they can't hurt you... :)

Unless of course they happen to be painted on a huge sign that falls on your napper when walking down the street, that could hurt... :)

Anyway I voted for "I don't want new games. I'm dumb." mainly cos I've still got well over 5000 games in my collection that I've never got round to playing yet and not because I'm dumb (which I am, by the way)... :)

What a dumb poll. I don't want anything of those, but I want top down racers, strategy games, peaceful building/growing games (where you grow cities, imperium, roads, grass, snails or similar stuff) and all should be multiplayer games (serial, tcp, local).

(I didn't vote)

Just a reminder: It's pretty easy to type some words on a keyboard. You would probably find the person is a snivelling coward in real life. Likely to attack you by stalking, spamming or viruses not fisticuffs.
If someone has upset you... take a 2 minute break from the computer and cool down before deciding to respond.

As long as these new games really push the Amiga hardware and offer something new and better than the great commercial releases of the past, then fine, otherwise one might just ask "Why?"

Oh, and I'd love to see more classic arcade conversions - like Rolling Thunder, but done PROPERLY this time! :-)

Mike.

We would be nice if that were the case, but probably unlikely. But if someone is learning to program/do sprite work, and getting better with each game, i'd definetly play their stuff.
And one day they might get to the standard of the past (or maybe beyond).

Yeah, sorry one and all. He posts a lot of stuff that gets on my tits, and is just outright rude.
I'll shut my cakehole.

But is anyone going to create these games ?
Realisticly I don't think so.
