Hi what games do you like/plays most?
I have a soft spot for Lucas Art, Monkey island 1 and 2 Indiana jones and the fate of atlantis and the last crusades, but also Super frog, and It came from the desert :-)
-
Alien Breed (pretty much the entire series), Turrican 2 and 3, Supercars 2, Speedball 2, UFO: Enemy Unknown, Warlords, Battle Isle, Historyline...the list goes on and on :)
-
I spent many an hour on Frontier, Syndicate, Wing Commander (normal and CD32 version), Microprose F1 GP, Theme Park, A-train and Liberation: Captive II (CD32 version).
Difficult to pick a favourite, although I have a massive soft spot for the Wing Commander series in general, shame it ended.
-
Games that I played most are F1GP, Wipeout 2097, PGA Euro tour golf AGA, F15 Strike Eagle II, Turrican 2, Slamtilt, Monkey Island II, Lotus III, Myst.. the list is endless.. Overall winner for me is, I think, Slamtilt. Since its still so enjoyable and hasnt aged a bit.
-
My favorite games for Amiga are:
Lemmings, Worms, Mean Arenas, Super Stardust, Clockwiser, Cannon Fodder, Nicky Boom, Shadow of the Beast 3. There are more but these stand out the most.
I think that's it.
-
Since people here have mentioned szome of my favorite games like point and click adventure games ill say some not mentioned.
Moonstone: A hard days knight - Superb game, loads of fun and even multiplayer.
James Pond 2, robo cod - This game has given me loads of hours.
Tearaway thomas - Not everyone likes the high speed, but I love this one, keep you on your toes and work on your skills.
PANG - This is a aweasome game to play with a friend, you will love and hate each other :D
Dune 1-2 - Needs no explanation.
Syndicate - Nice game but not for everyone.
Another world - Great game, hard sometimes and it has a nice intro vid.
Flashback - Somewhat like above game but looks alot better.
Prince of persia - No need of explanation.
Arabian Nights - Underused gem, people tend to forget about it, but it's an nice looking platformer with decent controls.
Ruff 'n' Tumble - Nice little game, feels a bit like a more simple version of metal slug.
Toki - Many would not agree with me on this one, but I like to be a human transformed to a monkey with oversized head whos goal is to find his love taken by a "huge hand"!
Project X - Great Shmup without any doubt at par with R-Type
Swiv - Needs no explanation.
I could keep writing forever since I love a LOT of games for the Amiga.
EDIT: forgot to mention Silk worm after swiv! Great for 2 players.
There is also a bunch of good RPG's for the Amiga that I love.
-
First game Jewels of Darkness so I add it. Others Nevermind, Menace, Blood Money, Shadow of the Beast, Buggy Boy, Microprose World Circuit Grand Prix,
-
yeah, this is one of those threads where every post makes me want to go "****, yeah, that game was awesome too!"
-
Chaos Engine, Wipeout (a top down public domain shooter, not the racing game of PSX fame. Wish I could find the ADF for this one), Another world, Flashback, Project X, Shepherd (shareware god game by Obbe Vermeij), Sneech (a very well known snake game by Paul Burkey):
http://www.shoecakegames.com/sneech/
and all the Alien Breed games to name but a few.
-
From the PD world, with a friend and 2 joysticks with autofire...Transplant is hard to beat :)

....damn, how could I forget Worms and Super Stardust and.... and I just realised that this is one of those threads that you will never fully reply to as you'll think of another game as soon as you hit the submit post button. Damn you Lassie you tricked me into this trap of yours. :P
-
I don't think I could name a clear favourite, but for hours spent playing then is has to be one of the following:
Elite
Civilization
Railroad Tycoon
Defender of the Crown
X-Com: UFO Enemy Unknown
Syndicate
Lemmings series
Alien Breed series
-
This is funny. I just finished a bought with Chaos Engine. Wings is way up there too. As is It Came From the Desert (1 & 2).

Any votes yet for Hired Guns?
Tricky to get into, but it's absolutely badass. Amazing sound too
-
There are so many, but as I think about it, it's kind of funny..
If I go by the game I play the most.....
It's going to be MegaBall (and MegaBallAGA)...
It's the first game I put on all my Amigas, and in between playing other games, I usually fire up a game of that...
:-)

Wait what? Worms Armageddon? Released 1999 on Windows machines... There are 2 Worms games for Amiga, Worms 1 and the AGA Worms The Directors Cut. But Worms is a nice game!
And what grand prix game? I guess you are talking about Formula One Grand Prix, or are you talking about any of the about 10-15 other Amiga games with Grand Prix in the title?
A lot of the other games you mentioned are good games tho, keep in mind that you need a quite expanded Amiga to run Sim City 2000 well since it's a really bad port.
