Thanks for the tip, unfortunately he couldn't help because most logic is in programmable chips. But it's always good to now that there are people willing to help
But I found someone who gave it a try, and its fixed
At first it looked like one altera chip was defective because it was getting hot. But it turned out it was something else causing this.
So now my a4000 is running with this board again instead of my original 030 cpu card
