my  usb recognizes  brand etc etc  of the external cdwriter usb  i plug in ..
what driver bindings  do i need to use  to actually use it..
A500 3.1/8meg/2gigscsi ...wants a 040
CD32/SX1/FMV/FLASHDRIVE/  wants sx32pro
A1200  os3.5 030/50/fpu/mmu/2flashdrives/cd/   indivision coming ..............wants a ppc/060  ACCEL :laughing:

It should automatically bind to massstorage class.

As with any other CD drive you need a CD file system to read CDs and a CD writing software to write CDs.

i have ide fix for the ide drive  ..will it install  another set drivers or  usb needs it own different  ones

guessing u will need to change the mount to use the correct device and unit?

Assuming that "my usb" uses Poseidon as driver, you can configure massstorage class to automatically mount the drive. You just have to point it to the file system in question (CacheCDFS in your case).
