Amiga 4000 Zorro slot issue

Hi

I have just resurrected my Amiga 4000d, after 5 years in storage.  All seems to be working ok apart from the top 2 Zorro slots.  I have a big ram plus, if i plug it into the bottom two slots it works and 256mb show up in workbench.  If i plug the ram expansion into any of the top two slots it fails to detect.  Does anyone know the problem?

Do you have any other zorro cards to try? 

A Zorro II ram card like a A2058 might be interesting to try.  And you would know instantly if the Zorro II bus addressing is working.
do you have other zorro III cards?


Also you may want to try another daughter card.  People with mediators usually have daughter cards around.
