the programmer you linked to can only write to chips with 32 pins... A500 rom chips are 40 pins
Ah, yeah...good enough for my car..

You can use a TL866-II programmer for them with an adapter for those eproms sold by GGLabs.com.  The TL866 doesn't support them natively, so the adapter is needed.  I use a SuperPro 610p, which doesn't require an adapter,  but, that's a $500 programmer.

You can also buy one of those FLASHrom adapters from GGLabs on ebay.   He will program them for you with whatever Kickstart you send him to put on it.
