I just thought, them sites aren't English So although the games on there are cheaper, it would work out a little bit dearer due to postage.(?)

the sites are in ENGLISH also.

just hit the english flags..

postage...not normally..but sometimes it can be steep, this you can email then and ask about.

as for buying them games in the uk, well goodluck...only forematt has them i think...rest dont, so i dont know what the prices will be like..

just remeber, STAY AWAY FROM:

Amigagames.co.uk
Archon (dont remeber the link anymore)
Amigastuff.co.uk

@lempkee

I meant that the place where the company is isn't in England. The language is in English. I too am also aware of Formatt, but i got a letter from them saying that they have cut back on some of the games (Heretic 2 and others :-(  ). Why on earth would i have to avoid the companies you mentioned?

the companies i mentioned (shops)  which u should stay away from are major pirates , they are well known for making CDr versions of orginals and selling them at full price, and even some times the buyer wont even see its pirated as its very pro done,  anyway the problem is ... developers wont get the money!!! , hence not fun.
(been discussed ALOT on this forum before, people getting ripped off etc..)

(they also illegally re released several games on cd which orginally was Floppy only and one of them even contained an illegal WHDLOAD pirate key)

(back in the past theese was the bad guys:
Alive , Epic UK .. theese got splitted up and
the only sane guy opened up FOREMATT (due to several reasons i guess but one of em must be the piracy accusations) , the other guys opened up Amigagames.co.uk and amigastuff etc and later on Archon ...

i am a regular buyer and seriously i have been ripped off ALOT! from archon (10 cd32 games i bought, 100 Quid) , i asked if they was orginals and he said YES!, so i paid for em and when it arrived in the post only 1 of them was orginal and rest was not...)

Ebay nicks to stay away from " v-Direct " and " amigastuff" , theese are The same doods as Amigastuff.co.uk and Amigagames.co.uk.

I only buy here if the photo on ebay is showing the actual stuff and not just a random picture.

**********

try with kicksoft , weirdscience , power computing , eyetech and forematt for the titles, or others in the uk which i havent mentioned.

anyway i dont see the problem of buying from germany, i live in norway and i buy from the uk (forematt mostly)

as for payback , go to the APEX website and order it directly from him.

sorry for the neg info but its really sad to pay money for pirated stuff and even worse when its a shop dooing so.

@lempkee

I totally agree with you on that one. And thanks for the information. I will not be buying my stuff from Amigagames nor any other pirate games. I have been a victim of piracy once before, when i brought Amiga OS 3.9 off Amibench, and don't want it to happen again. I also buy my goodies from Formatt (aka Quake), but i just wanted to know if there were any cheaper games, or any for sale from other members. I will buy Payback from the official website and have a look for Heretic 2 and Quake 2 :-) Thanks again.

I was at a large computer fair in Gateshead on Sunday and there was a stall selling Amiga (as well as other computers) emulators with loads of games on (some of which are still being sold). Is there any point in saying anything to the organisers?

red; yes indeed, this sounds NASTY!.

Email them or something and let them know , and maybe you should warn us from what company it was as seriously nothing is more annoying than this.

There is allready people selling TOSEC Dvds on ebay etc, and i can agree on stuff like OOOOOLD rare games is ok to be copied but not sold and to all who knows what tosec is,well its not just old games sadly (check their db) , games from as late as 2002 is in it....

(anyway i notified ebay about it and they banned the items , but heh i wonder for how long..)
