So, before I quickly skedaddle for a few mins, may I humbly present my reworded track, as perceived from an objective c afficionado's perspective:

So a different language,
Used for different needs.
Somewhat inefficient but available free.
It's obvious you hate it
And you have all along,
Mr Jobbs supports it, so how could it be wrong?

I can't understand
What makes man
Reject apple's plan
Help me understand!

Coders are people, so why should it be?
Some of them like to hate Objective-C
Coders are people, so why should it be?
Some of them like to hate Objective-C

Now you're typing and you're clicking
And you're ranting at me
About this "bloody awful" Objective-C.
So far you haven't realised,
But I'm sure you will
Apple only use it
To make haters feel ill

I can't understand
What makes man
Hate an apple fan
Help me understand!
I actually prefer this to the original...

Actually yes, but I did make a vow not to cover that particular song due to the importance of the junk yard samples on the song... It would be heresy to try and emulate them... Perhaps a more acoustic ballad might work ;)

Boo!

You haven't heard my early octamed version of "Enjoy the Silence". I don't think expression "murder" does the desecration justice.

Why do you think the farmers but them big spray painted bits on their sides.  Its not just some they know whos sheep are who :)

No no no, they only mark the ones that kick.  So they know which ones to leave well alone.  If you know what I mean.

I shall say no more than that ;-)

Make it like the good old days and release a 12" version... :)

You know, I wish someone would cobble together a fake website announcing some amazing new piece of hardware or software soon to be released for the Amiga (a bit like Amiga Inc & Gateway used to do) just to give us all something new and exiting to talk about...

either that or could we hold a Monty Pythons tribute night...

Just a suggestion... :)

Already been done,.... just head over to the A-EON site and check out thier X1000. Although I guess a pretty much standard cheapo motherboard with a gimmick and a different cpu for 10-15x its value (relative to elsewhere for the same sort of specs) doesnt really count as amazing  ;)

p.s. sorry, I couldnt refrain. I really have no interest in X1000, or bashing it. It just seemed too obvious to pass up  :)
Near as I can tell this is where I write something under the guise of being innocuous, but really its a pot shot at another persons/peoples choice of Amiga based systems. Unfortunately only I cant see how transparent and petty it makes me look.

Right... This is all getting very silly.

It's time for something completely different :python:

Hmm,

His name is Karlos,
he is a coder
,
with yellow socks in his hair, and the code cut down to there,

Done in that ole Barry Manifold Copacabana style :roflmao:
Let X = X

Tan Hauser Gate's one and only cover... I really enjoyed playing this one :)

@bloodline

ITYM: Shameful cover

Nice work btw. I think I've seen this as a youtube vid in the past?

Incidentally, for someone that hates FM, there's a sound in there that's so obviously sounds FM (you can hear it in comparative isolation at 2:05 where it reappears just on top of the bass/percussion). My old PSS680 was perfect at making noises like that :D

It isn't, it's an audio track only. I was saying I have seen a video of that actual performance in the past.
