The second hand market for OS4.1 (Pegasos and classic versions, the others are bundled with HW) just disappeared! And we're basically *still* at 4.1, it's not like it's because 4.2 was released!

I have an opinion on this, and unlike you I'm a paying customer, so I'm *entitled* to an opinion! But maybe me and my opinions should be "VOX'ed away"?

He seems pretty happy, right? So obviously they're able to please some of the people, some of the time. In this day and age that's pretty much all anyone can ask for, right?  You do more to turn people off from MorphOS with your rants than convince them of anything.

I don't have time for the computers I already own, but now that OS4 hardware is coming down in price I've considered it. Have spent a fair amount of money with AmigaKit on other products, so you can't really say I'm not "a paying customer".  But you know the old saying, opinions are like a-holes. Everyone has them, and they all stink.

LOL most of those were iterative bug fix releases.
Amiupdate has delivered very many free updates to AmigaOS4.1. Good knows  what version number it would be up to if they followed MOS and bumped  the version number with every minor fix. :laugh1:

Actually,  every second release (odd version numbers) was a bugfix release, and  between them there were the major updates (with even version numbers).  About what a major update was, you can check the details yourself,  because - unlike OS4 - all changes are still publicly listed in  the respective release  notes on the official MorphOS page. :rtfm:
