Is there anything new on the release date?
-
Uhhh , two more weeks.
:D

@trekiej
Seems there's a bit of a Halloween treat available :)
-
Do you have any anti-hex formula? :D

I installed V2.0 on my AthlonXP machine.
I like it a lot.
I can tell that there is a lot added to it.
I have yet to really get into it.
The install seems to be just like 1.5.2.
Congratulations to the Devs:

Thanks. We've done our best to add the best AROS software and to keep installation simple.

Had a quick play with the hosted qemu version and it looks good. Is there a simple/quick guide anywhere which explains how to mount ntfs formatted drives which I believe it can do?
thanks

If ntfs-handler is in "SYS:L", NTFS partitions should be mounted automatically. If it's not there, you can probably copy it from "SYS:Storage/L".

Thanks for your reply, I had a look and it is already in there. I think it needs adding in the batch file, i tried a few options having looking in google such as
-hdc ntfs:/dev/hda or \\.\PhysicalDrive0 etc and it is drive 0 but it then doesn't start the emu. I will try installing it on a spare drive instead of running in qemu and try again :)

Sorry, I missed where you said you were running it in QEmu. I was talking about a native install.
You'd be better off using VirtualBox or VMWare. Then you can use a virtual SMB share to access your host drives.
-
Good idea, will try virtualbox first :)

I love the new version, it is on one of my four hard drives. I was so excited when I saw that there was a new version released! LOL :P
