I have an Amiga1200 with a pc alimentator and an external IDE cable. I'm quite interested in moving it inside a PC case because it's quite unconfortable to have the harddisk floating around and at 15cm from the keyboard.
I don't follow the amiga scene from the time that Amiga1200 was announced so I'm quite out of update.
I would like to know where to find easy instructions for doing this keeping in mind that I'm negated with eletronics :P

I'm not trying to be 'unhelpful' by not giving direct URLs to the information you want, but I think searching on Aminet would be your best choice to start looking.
I can't recommend one in particular because I haven't towered an A1200 before, and also there are some articles referring to AT or ATX design cases.
I would imagine your best course of action would be to download a load of the guides, read them all, then pick and choose the information most relevant to your situation.
I would only recommend trying something like this if you've messed around inside computers enough to be confident that you won't static the hardware to death etc. From what I remember reading up about it, the only 'tricky' bits are connecting the power supply to the motherboard, and the amount of weird cables you need to buy to do a proper job on it.

Whoops, i just posted this, on another thread...
Just buy ANY pc case That will have room for the amiga MoBo...
There are ones specifically made for this, try Eyetech.com.
But i would just save money and Hacksaw a full tower.
The only cables i got (at the start) was the key-board adaptor...All the ports are assessable (directly) at the back of the tower.
