Post by: Drummerboy on June 30, 2010, 11:18:45 PM
Hello,

I wonder if anyone knows what kind of 72-pin SIMM memory is using the accelerator. Is any Simm memory?, EDO?.. Any brand.

Comments, suggests are welcome..

Regards

For most A1200 accelerators, it does not matter EDO or not. Amigas, from my understanding do not use EDO, they ignore it when present. When ever I buy 72 pin ram, it's never a consideration, or problem later. BTW, you didn't say what kind...?

Considering there are a few (thanks GOD!) 3.3V server memory & Laser Printer SIMM outside, most memory SIMM will work with any accelerator.

The worst case is the Apollo units, which are very picky with memory SIMM banks.
