In fact, if I click on just about anything that I can't access such as ":: Waiting Contents
Submitted News" It will take me to that page, then it can't allow access to that page and it will take me there again, and it will keep doing that forever...

Other than that, no problems other than the ones mentioned.

Well okay, it's been mentioned before, but I can think of the comments for images all missing.
There is also the absence of a row of smileys at the bottom of the posting page (between 'Quote' & 'more...')
And why can't I access my user details???THAT, I have no idea. I don't know if anyone else is affected, but the only time that happens is when you're not logged in. Checking.

I just went to "Edit Account", and added some text to my signature (to fix the truncation now the bug has been fixed). I also selected "store my login in a cookie for a year". After clicking "submit", I got a page saying "You do not have access to this page" or similar, and it kept redirecting itself to that page in an endless loop. I manually went back to the main page, and clicked "View Account", and got the same problem again. I had to logout and back in to fix it.
This is with Mozilla Firefox 0.8 on Windows 2000. I made almost identical modifications to my account last night in IBrowse 2.3 on OS4, and had no such problem.

check the group permissions for "registered users" in the system admin...Group permissions appear correct. Registered users have access rights to that section. I heard from Ackbarr this morning who tells me they've seen similar reports with other sites and they will be examining the code today to see if they can find the problem.

I suppose reading the two dozen previous posts about that problem is out of the question? :-)

FYI, I tried using both 2.0.5.2 code and 2.0.6 code, same result. It's simply seeming as though permission is NOT granted for userinfo.php, and that's very odd.
The site is possessed :)
i had the REALLY annoying task of going to every folder in my xoops directory to set the php's to 755 :( they has all uploaded as 644...

Yeah, that much is simple. I don't think it's a problem with the actual CHMOD, but Ackbarr (Thanks Ackbarr!) is working in the background, so perhaps he found something and simply hasn't had the opportunity to tell me what he found and fixed.

ummm, and also, i don't think this can be helped (serves nme right for using the wrong one anyway) but although i see you tried to conserve image bookmarks by getting rid of the -p [i had to use it too...] when you do http://amiga.org/myalbum/ it gives you a white page
myAlbum-P 2.6 (original)

Sorry, that's not fixable. To resolve the Amiga's issue with the constant dropping of sessions, we installed the auto-login hack. If you don't log in every time you come back, you technically haven't met the "next time I log in" criteria until you actually have to log back in.
Make sense?

It would be nice to have the PMail letters back in theIt's already there. When you get a new message, it puts the number in brackets next to your inbox (and I believe puts it in bold). The rest would involve serious code hacking.
That's as clear as the local tap water (which is often quite cloudy)Ok, let me see if I can help run it through a Brita filter for ya.
