Helllooo guys! :D
I have seen some wonderful screenshots of customized 3.1 Workbenches. I was wondering if anyone could give me info on customizing my icons, changing the look of WB 3.1 and any tools that I might be able to use to customize my desktop. (hopefully there are some free ones.) I noticed MUI in my 3.1 which I think I have a similar thing in MorphOS. But really, I've only had a brief introduction to 3.1 over the years, so I really don't know how to make it look like some of ya'll have, other than changing the wallpaper! LOL :D
Any help would be appreciated greatly!

Hi!
Seems like there's a post on this subject about every week or two. If you search the forums you'll find a lot of other threads, also you can always ask anyone who posts a screenshot which software they use, I'm sure they'd be glad to help. ;)
But for starters, read this thread:
http://www.mfilos.com/2012/01/guide-making-workbench-prettier-using.html
(I'd skip Birdie if you're on an ECS machine)
Also install the Peter K icon library:
http://aminet.net/package/util/libs/IconLib_46.4
Also "This Old Workbench" has some good tips, although it's a bit dated, now:
http://www.amigau.com/amigarealm/thisoldworkbench/html/contents.html
Also there's the question of whether you want to push toward 3.9 and GlowIcons, or another of the more "modern" icon sets, or stick with something more classic like MagicWB, etc. (this would depend on your hardware specs)
Am sure other will chime in with more, since everyone's Workbench is a little different, and everyone has their own customization preferences which they think are the best, lol. ;) But yeah, look at screenshots and ask questions is your easiest way to get started. :D

I like to use tool manager and it's docks. Takes some time to get it setup, but the results are worth it.

I agree with matt3k on that.
I love ToolManager and it's docks as well :)
Some time ago I wrote a guide (not yet on my blog) but you can get it from the link bellow:
