Title: Flip L/R audio channels on X1000
Post by: SteveH on August 04, 2022, 12:19:36 PM
Is it possible to flip the L/R audio channels on the X1000?
The way I have my cables and speakers (a pair of Creative SBS15s) set up means I have to place the right stereo speaker on the left of my desk, and the left stereo speaker on the left - so I am looking for a way to send the left-hand stereo channel to the right speaker and vice versa. I can't see a setting which allows me to do this (I am using the X1000 built-in audio). I have the A-Eon Sound prefs v 53.27 and Mixer v1.42 installed.
Any advice would be welcome!
Steve

No idea how to do this in software, but it's easy to do in hardware. Just split the signal into L/R and recombine it the other way around. Using y-cables, match red to white and white to red.

Hi Matt,
I hadn't thought of that!
I was hoping to achieve this in software but your solution may well be the easier option.
Cheers,
Steve
