Title: A600 + PiStorm + RGBtoHDMI with PLCC-socket?
Post by: TonyH on June 18, 2022, 10:22:44 AM
Hi,

Does the PiStorm 600 fit A600 at the same time with the RGBtoHDMI which has the PLCC-socket (Denise-hat) connection? They seem very close fit, anybody tried it?

I haven't bought one (RGBtoHDMI) yet and don't want to waste my money if they do not fit and I need the one that is soldered on. Latter is cheaper but I like the idea of the socket and not soldering anything to the MB.

Thanks.

To answer my own question, I think I found the answer.

Chris Edwards seems to use the exact same RGB2HDMI and in his video the PiStorm 600 fits fine.

You can see it in 3.20 in this video:
