UAE .9.92 WB 3.9 and wbpattern oddity

Nothing major, but I have a pic I want as a scaled bg, but wbpattern will only display it as tiled. Suggestions?

Installed an old picture.datatype which does not support scaling ?

jpeg.datatype   version 44.4
