Here is a fun little game written in HTML5 that reminds me of Magic Pockets... I'm all for this sort of thing, as it shows how the new standard totally removes the need for Flash...

Biolab Disaster is basically just a tech demo, but works great on even my old iPhone and should work fine on any smartphone with a modern browser! Get playing!!! It's fun :)

Doesn't work with OWB 1.11. Loading stops at about 65% :(

Does OWB have a debug console? Perhaps we can findout where the problem is :)

doesnt play nice with the android browser ... (webkit ?) multitouch issue, you cant 'jump' 'right' for instance. I wonder if its a device issue ? but my stuff should be multi touch ? (it's a desire hd, zooming pinches and stuff work fine, but I wonder if there's more to it ?)

Works fine on Firefox. Good game, love the graphics.

That is anoying :( I was hoping this would run fine on android too, can you try other browsers (are there any that use the same webkit source as apple's mobile safari?

nopes, tried with dolphin browser, it still doesnt work. what happens is as soon as I put my finger on the second button, it registers as a pinch and tries to zoom in, messing up the layout ...

Unstable game, although it is fantastic the new potential of HTML 5.

That's pretty good, and it's only 15 years behind FLASH. You rock W3C ! Good job WHATWG !
Kinda makes you feel ok for still using a 68k Amiga.

Works okay on my iPhone 3Gs (4.2.1) but no sound.

Or, you could play something a bit more sophisticated (http://www.pcworld.com/article/193309/run_quake_ii_in_your_browser_with_html5.html) ;)

Hehe, did you just find out about that ? :P
While I don't consider it much like Magic Pocket (even though I never played it LOL), I think it's a cool game.

Thanks for the link.
The game is playable even on my old and slow PowerBook G4 with Safari 4.1.3.
HTML5 sure is neat technology, but on this machine the Flash seems to perform better.

Yeah, I played the Opera Widget version months ago. Pretty neat.
