Multisync LCD Panel for Amiga
« on: May 08, 2005, 03:05:37 AM »
Take a look at this LCD panel kit.  Says it supports 15-60khz:

http://www.converters.tv/products/converters/lcd_panel/212.html

Theoretically this should would with all amiga video modes.  However, every mode would be interpolated since the native LCD resolution is 1024x768.  I wonder to what degree the Amiga video would suffer from this, i.e. would it be too blurry to use?

Anyone want to buy one and let us know it is? :-)

Doesn't sound good to me, $450 USD for a 6 bpp, <20ms TN panel. Interpolation will make text blurry, but games might look OK.

cheers
