I saw that before.

Too bad they did not have a PPC version that would run on my X1000.  8-)

I know that making every operating system look like every other operating system is one of the Internet's many hobbies, but...really? You can dress Linux up like anything you want, it'll still be Linux - with everything that entails. If I were the Haiku guys, with their emphasis on clean, simple, consistent design and usability, I'd be pissed.

we've already got Debian Squueze running nicely on the X1000 ;)

Would be more interesting and productive a real Haiku port

I agree fully, but as we wait on Haiku to reach verson 1.0, this is kind of a nice replacement to keep us going in the mean time. Yes it is still Linux, but probably the best Ubuntu distro I've used thus far.
