Softhut Experience
« on: September 22, 2007, 04:51:43 PM »
Just wanted to give a thumbs up to Softhut in the USA. I recently bought an Amiga 1000 on e-bay and needed Kick Start & WB to get it up and running. I contacted Softhut for a price quote and a few days later placed the order. They replied to my inquiries promptly, honored the pricing quote and my order shipped 48 hours after it was placed. Overall a good experience. I would buy from them again and would recommend them as a reputable vendor.

They are usually very quick with their orders. I have ordered from the twice. The second time took more time as they did not have the item, but I was able to switch to another item without issues.

I have dealt with Softhut and Amigakit a few times.  I give kudo's to both companies as I bought an A1200 and more from Softhut and recieved it within 2 weeks.  AmigaKit had some harder to find items I purchased and It took about 3 weeks (but I live in US so this was actually pretty good).  It is nice to have the two companies here still supporting the Amiga community so I encourage anyone that needs an item to visit these two companies website, drop them an Email or Phone call before hitting Ebay and the likes cause at least with them you'll be 1.) supporting an Amiga company 2.) Have support for the item (well as much as they can support it)  3.) Won't have to worry about being scammed for your money or recieving an "untested" item that you know prob wont work.  Anyways just my 2 cents.  Cheers

I have order a lot of stuff over the years from Software Hut. They were even able to find me a 4000T motherboard after my Multiface III card literally, exploded a few years ago. I have never had any problems with my orders or shipping from them.

I sent them an email about the availability of some CD32 titles since I know in the past the page doesn't match what is actually in inventory - never heard anything back.  It's been over a month.  When I've ordered stuff over the years it's shown up without an issue.
