World of Warcraft!

On a 68000 with 1meg of RAM. No wait, 512k but enhanced with extra RAM. It should have a collectors edition suitcase to hold the hundreds of floppies too. :)

Classic Amiga please. But do good games come from wanting to please others, or by pleasing your self? (I know..). But most interesting games for me the last few months have been of the rather original Heavy Rain and Braid type.

Having said that. Turboraketti / Xpilot type game online for Xbox live arcade is probably what I would love the most. Massive online potential.

But for Amiga, a really good action-adventure game in the Prince of Persia, Flashback, Another World vein would truly rock.

I prefer arcade games or arcade games like turrican, arcade with puzzle section like beast 3, games with parallax scrolling, good music like chris huelsbeck, maniac of noise, tim wright.

Difficulty and playability may be enought hard without desesperation, most of modern games are easy, turrican 1 and 2 are enough hard, turrican 3 is too easy.

you mean like Turrican only not crappy? :)

I could do it code-wise, but as far as graphics, euhhh, Ima have to find me an artist, because I can't do art for shit!

I am new to Amiga hardware so a few baby steps might have to happen, but, I could see it happening

like wow, I cant believe you don't like Turrican ahahhaha
If you think the Amiga version was hard try the C64 version, I think it was a lot harder. heh

Great game, and it came out on the Commodore 64 first :-)

I just never enjoyed turrican.  It was like Contra appearance wise, but gameplay wise, not at all.

Its ok I guess.  Coulda been better. :)

as for platform, its definitely gotta be something for old machines.  that way when i make a crappy game, its excusable.

lol

well these are all good thoughts so far.  I would port my Berzerk clone, but I don't think anyone will want to play that!

Convert StarFox from the SNES for the Amiga 1200 just to see how it would run :)

Some of the Dune 2 remakes would be great to see on Amiga. Though Dune 2 is an MS-DOS convert to the Amiga, its still one of my all- time favourite game.

Speaking of software in need in general, is it not about time classic Amiga get some kind of decent replacement for Directory Opus and the alikes? Still great to use software, but it havent had an overhaul since Magellan II.

well file directory apps arent really my cup of tea.  I like game-programming and usually find the rest of it kind of boring.   Some other apps are fun to do, like D&D character generators, music stuff...

but file system stuff? eeeewwwww.  :)

I always thought it was a shame that instead of EHB that an extra 32 colour registers weren't added. Even if the entire palette had to be split into two separate regions for backwards compatibility, the ability to have 64 freely assignable colours would have been a nice feature for a lot of games.

I DO LIKE Turrican, but they're way tooooo hard. I even liked the SNES and MD versions.
I DO LIKE Ruff 'n Tumble, it has somehow a bit messy control, but it's technically good.

About new games on an Amiga, i would say any good game would do.
From a sidescroll shooter, to some classic game conversion from other system.

Somebody pointed some MSX games, they're good, but what about MGS from MSX
with better technical capabiliites? Or a Zelda port from the SNES. Or StarFox, i remember
somebody talked a time ago about a new SF2 conversion with ripped GFX from the
arcade or PC version and a new engine for 030, or 020's (Not EC20's)

But... The game i would LOVE to see a sequel from is...

B U C K T O O T H   B O B!!!!!!

An extra 32 colour registers would have taken up a lot of space on the silicon... you forget that CSG's fabs were VERY old by the time the EHB was added.
