I always thought it was a shame that instead of EHB that an extra 32 colour registers weren't added. Even if the entire palette had to be split into two separate regions for backwards compatibility, the ability to have 64 freely assignable colours would have been a nice feature for a lot of games.
An extra 32 colour registers would have taken up a lot of space on the silicon... you forget that CSG's fabs were VERY old by the time the EHB was added.

Somebody pointed some MSX games, they're good, but what about MGS from MSX
with better technical capabiliites? Or a Zelda port from the SNES. Or StarFox,

I dont think anyone explicitly mentioned MSX (but we did mention R Type and Ys!), but what is MGS?   Do you mean just Metal Gear or Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake?

Metal Gear Solid wasn't until playstation :D

That might be neat.  I can't recall any good espionage games on Amiga.   If there is one and I've missed it, tell me!

Well it should not be that hard to do a sidescroller with upgradeable weapons.

might even be possible to use some sort of pseudo 3d stuff

A good 1942 clone would be nice.

A version which supports multible players,
A version which supports hires resolution,
that supports hundreds of sprites on the screen,
and that supports truecolor and alpha blending.

hmm wait we have this already...

Besides  Deluxe 194x, we are planning to create more deluxe remakes of good old games.
I would like to make a Deluxe version of Uridium and Hybris.

We are going to ship our game engine together with the NATAMI.
I look forward that more people will create new Shoot Em ups using this engine.

I would like Jagged Alliance ported to Amiga or a completely new game in the series. Man, I love those games...

I really wonder why peole want games that we allready have????

It is like I would wish quake?

I would like to see something that we don't allready have.

Resident evil 1 type game would be nice, and 68k amigas would even have enough horse power for it.

Moving objects was 3d but background was static 2d image

Other good would be something like settlers 2

Smart mobve would be to check wath kind of game engines are availlable to amiga. I mean that it would be faster if there is possibility to use lets say doom engine? or quake engine?

@utri007: agreed. however, I think we have most game types already, if not more than others. Amiga is only 'behind' when it comes to 3D games, like a good racer (I still play NFS5, its excellent), a  good 3d action/adventure (like tomb raider), or a proper flightsim.

Ofcourse, a conversion of Grand Theft Auto would be excellent aswell :)

Payback is quite good grand thef auto clone.

It isn't just what it is allso how. Really good exsample what I mean is Genetic species, it was made well with relism, not too heavy to 68k amiga but still looks good and offer great playability.

There is lots good lookin car/3d games atleast for amiga computers ;)

If we are thinking to amiga port of pc game we should look at quite old games lets say 92-97

There is no point to make game that is playable with 1% of current amigas, offcourse there should be option to configure graphics so that playability could be adjustable.

@Arkhan

you could use AGA, 030/50 and 16MB as it's the minimum config most of people has. 030 may aid to add some extra bigger sprites and parallax planes.

payback is not the gta clone I had in mind.. :) there are no proper 3d racing games for amiga. just a few with filled vectors (like leading lap, f1gp) and even less with texturemapped graphics (xtreme racing, flyin' high, joyride, racer etc).

I dont agree on that system spec, '030 is what most people have' is what they said 10 years ago!

@rvo_nl

I would prefer some good 2d games for 030, 040, 060... I think it's still possible to make "modern" 2d games on classics that don't look bad today. There are not so many 2d games that take advantage of accelerators and extra ram (Napalm requires accelerator but was quite slow on AGA... it looked as it was designed for chunky screens). Lo-Res high qualityplanar games would be perfectly possible.

I would love something like Diablo I on Amiga but I doubt AGA would be enough to move so many graphics on a 640x480 screen at 25fps. It would require quite a lot of optimizing or RTG directly.

If you like 3D racing there's already WipeOut2097. ;-)
