Question about Macintosh LC III
« on: May 08, 2011, 12:38:07 PM »
I found an old Macintosh LC III thrown away and adopted it.

It doesnt have a VGA. Is there any way i can connect it to a VGA monitor or TV so that i can try it out?

The machine itself does switch on and i heard the Chime and the hard drive sounds like its booting up.

A good db15 to vga adaptor for these machines has either a dial or some dip switches on it for selecting the resolution you want.

Would this thing allow it to work on a standard LCD monitor? I'm bidding on one on ebay.

I used to have both and they seemed to work with about any Monitor I threw at it. Just watch your dip switches.
