can't wait to run it on 030/25mhz  ;-)

Seriously, if this one happens, I'll buy all working team members a beer. Hell, after porting the #### you've earned it.

Last night my bandwith with my Web Hosting Company ywent to 0! So I had to upgrade my account to a larger hosting plan. People want the AmiZilla bad. I am going to regret saying this but could someone please submit the news about AmiZilla to www.slashdot.org? There are a lot of ex- Amiga owners that hang out on there and I would like them to know about the effort. Thanx

My poor bandwith

well little old me, has decided to
make himself useful...and I am doing
some work on the project.

For one, first...WOW WOW WOW...I am typing
this from AWEB...I haven't used a real Amiga
in about 5 years.

After the nostalgia wears off, I am going to
get sick of AWEB real quick.

I have debian on order.  Mozilla has already
been ported to m68k, in two forms, Linux m68k
and NetBSD m68k.  So naturally I am going
to run them and get a feel for the speed.

already, I expect 1.4 to be dog slow based
on reports from people who use it.

I may have to try to convince the team to go
with a slightly older, but faster version...
or we will be happy that amithlon/powerpc
people will have a fast enough machine to use
it....and of course, very few people
running it on NetBSD have 060's....some do,
but not a lot...so it may be all reports
were in relation to 040's...

any how....I've got some playing around to do

see ya's

pyro:  Posting on Slashdot will not help us.  If they even post it, I'd be surprised.  I think your best bet is to have MikeB try to convince Eugenia to post it to OSnews.

The slashdot crowd are callous, vicious *nix users.  I honestly don't see how, after the beating the post would take *if* it gets posted, would help in any way.  They'll declare it "vaporware" and dismiss it.

I say, post this to every Amiga site you can think of.  People no longer in the community no longer care.  :-(
Have you hugged your KennyR or Paul Gadd today?
