Title: 14 AmigaOS Boot Sounds set by Nykk Deetronic
Post by: djnick on May 31, 2013, 12:20:01 AM
Greetings.

For Amiga fans I've composed 14 Amiga Boot Sounds in Renoise tracker and saved
as .wav and .mp3 files.

7 files are with male/female voice over and anohter 7 are without.

AmigaOS-BootSounds-by_Nykk/

I've also included Voices directory [with 19 different spoken text files] in
case you would like to use them somewhere else.

Download it from here:

Can you please tell me what do you use to make the voices?

I would like a nice female voice with reberveration saying "Welcome to AmiKit Real" or "Welcome to AmiKit for Real Amiga"...:)

After a bounty for a free sam for you to make "themes and boot sounds" and afterall you make it with renoise, funny.

Yes, I read all about the bounty, but I don't think he used it for the voices but for the music. I forgive him if he can make that new voice for me...:)  (Well, you know, it's for all of you on my AmiKit Real version).

I dont get the point? What about Renoise?

Btw here are some new skin sets in one page:

I've drawn them long time ago but due to lack programming knowledge it is still not created.

I need help for installation script from any Amiga programmer. I keep telling that I am designer and animator, not programmer...

I used Google for "free voice speech synthesizer", found several, type Amiga text, hit play and record what is spoken... :-)

If find some free time I will try to create you that sample...

Strewth, all you need to do is go out to a bar, pick up a chick, get her drunk, take her back to your place and then refuse to call her a taxi unless she says "Welcome to AmiKit for Real Amiga" into a microphone connected to your PC while running Sound Recorder.  If you want the reverb then get her to record it in the bathroom.  ;)

I like the Amiga Boot Sound v1 with voice.  It reminds me of the computer's voice in Alien Breed.  I think I'll use that as my boot sound.

Nice stuff DJNick.

Not sure, but I think my wife perhaps won't like that idea. Are you single, Darrin :)?

And don't forget to use the bathroom; better her head inside the toilet.

@ Retrofan

These are not what you specifically requested, but, might be worth a look (err, listen).  :)

I've tried all the programs I've found on Google, so I'm just waiting for you file.
Thanks a lot, you deserve your Sam.

Edit: I've sent you a Pm; I also would like to know what specific program you used.

Strange choice of thread to ask in.  It sounds remarkably similar to some of the music in MACE for OS4.
