Sorry about that, hosting company is working to fix it.

I wasn't being nasty of anything so no need for apologies. ;)

When I log in on home page it accepts log in but then when it goes back to home page it says I'm not logged in.

When I select 50 Latest Posts it says I AM logged in (at top right I'm talking about)

When I go back to home page again it says I'm not logged in.

Then if I click on 50 Latest Posts again it says I am logged in.

Edit : Interestingly after posting this reply it doesn't show up on the home page at the top like it should...(also says I'm not logged in at top as usual). Then when I click on 50 Latest Posts my post appears at the top where it should be - until I click on home again where it disappears. Weird eh?? LOL.

I wasn't seeing this problem as I don't log in very often -- until now that is then it kicked me out and I had to log in again -- however, before this I was seeing an issue where the threads were in bold indicating they were unread and then they were not indicating they had been read. I'm not talking one or two but all off them, even the ones I haven't read. This is occurring even when I visit on a computer where I haven't logged in a long while. Like before this problem even started. :) I'm assuming these are related to the log in issue...
Ed.

Yes, I am having problems as well, I am listed as logged in but the home page does not "welcome" me, if I click to reply to post, then I can, but the only other indication I have that I am logged in is when I click on a picture then it is as normal until I return to the home page where it looks looks like I am not logged in.

@SysAdmin:

I dont know your level of expertise in debugging vB, but since you own AO, it would be good to get paid support with vB.   I have it for another site I maintain and they are good at responding to issues we've had.

Good suggestion, I don't mind doing that. If you select remember me it should resolve your issues if you still have them.

How annoying. I'm getting it too.

Wow. Really weird. I logged in. It gave the standard welcome but nothing was showing that I had logged in.

But then I posted this message and viola, I'm logged in.

Still? Did you flush your Amiga.org cookies then ask the site to "Remember me"? I want this problem resolved. Don't want members to have login issues. I've asked Karlos to look into this problem too.

Still same issues as reported by me on Page 1.
I don't use Remember Me/Password Manager....never have done, never will do. But my browsing history is regularly cleared and have never had this problem before last weekend.

I can't login at all via the main pages quick login in the top right.
I can only login if I reply to a thread, login and choose the "remember me" option.

Mildly annoying but easy enough to get around, I guess I'll just be commenting a lot more than usual :)

I'm getting weird website reaction to my logging in. If I'm at home page and login, it thanks me for logging in (which does nto happen if I type passwd wrong - then I get bad login message), but after thanking for login it takes me back to home page as if I was not logged in. Still has the login fields to fill in. So I think it didn't work. But if I go to a forum topic, at some point it starts showing my name as logged in, and I'm obviously posting this just now. But it's very weird.
