I hate to tell anyone this espically in an Amiga forum but, WIND0$H 2000 comes with a pretty good pinball game and its the only one worth really playing :-D Havent seen a good Pinball game since "Pinball Dreams" ;-)
-
Is there any one here thats like the game King of Chicago by Cinemaware? I think that a real good mafia game, to bad that it is so short.

And yeah, I forgot Pinball Illusions in my list (my fav in Digital Illusion's series).
On another note. Pinball Dreams was Digital Illusion's biggest hit on the Amiga and it sold 270.000 copies. Pinball Illusions sold 70.000 copies and their last Amiga game sold 17.000 copies
Then a few years later makes True Pinball for PSX (basically a really good port of Pinball Illusions with an added table). True Pinball isn't exactly a Playstation chart topper, but it sells in 590.000 copies.
No wonder every sane company left the Amiga market and are in no hurry to go back.

He-Man,
Tell some of you favorites game to Amiga.
I believe that the AmigaOne is a time to move forward, not backward.
And that being said, there's only one game that I want to see on the AmigaOne. BioWare's Neverwinter Nights. It's due soon for the Mac, and I'm definitely going to get it then. If it were to come out for the AmigaOne, I'd get it then as well.
But if I want to play classic games, I'll use my A4kT. It's not like I'm going to be retiring it once the A1 comes into the house.

Dude, try looking for Balls Of Steel. Amazing game. Probably the type of game that was originally intended for the Amiga masses. Too bad by 1999 there wasn't the userbase required to fund such a project.
Also try looking for the sequel to BOS, came out 2 years later, called Kiss Pinball. Yes like the rockband KISS.
Beautiful 2D gfx. Using DirectX5 or something. And the best gameplay on any PeeCee pinball game.
I highly recommend getting this.
Let me know how you go. Any other pinball enthusiasts also welcome.

BTW, I forgot to put Elite 2 on my list. (But I don't have it... unfortunately.)
Drink a toast to David Braben!

-
MARBLE MADNESS!! I do remember this ball-game from... it must've been the late 80's?
I just wish I had it... Who wrote it?
Ah...that one I bought too (I still have it and the original package). It was one of the first of games available on Amiga. It was Electronic Arts that brought this Atari Arcade title to the Amiga.
And let's not forget a couple of the other early titles like:
Skyfox
Barbarian
Terrapods
Rick Dangerous
Amega's
Oh yeah, and what about Space Spuds with the X-specs 3D glasses? That was great.
They may not all be blockbusters, but they were sure fun.
-
And let's not forget all-those-games-which-I-do-not-recall-the-name-of.
I've got a few games in my collection already, but I wait for a new load ordered from CBI (a web-shop in Sweden).
I'm waiting for Slam Tilt, Watchtower, Tower of Souls, Big Red Adventure, Cannon Fodder2 and many many more...
I can recommend CBI for everyone who is interested in Amiga games. But you wont find many PPC games, anyhow.
Try this link: Computer Boss International, Sweden (http://www.cbi.nu)
Look for the US colors (left side) if you want the English version.
(100 SEK = 11.19 $ / 10.32 Euro.)
-
Did anybody mention Pinball Prelude by Effigy?
That was the best (IMO) amiga pinball game.
Logical was great...I really loved the Bard's Tale
games when I was a kid, and of course the AD&D
games.
-

Larry - All of them!
Morph AGA - Fantastic!
AND OF COURSE...
LOTUS !!!
-
@-D-
@Animagic, and all you flipperfans:
Do you veterans remember DAVID'S MIDNIGHT MAGIC on C64?
Play the game and think a little about this: It's running on an 1 MHz, 64 KB machine. Then you'll understand that this is the GREATEST FLIPPER EVER MADE.
-
OK, here comes the (attempt at a) list
SpeedBall 2
Alien breed (all)
Arcade Pinball
Cannon Fodder
Syndicate
Furry of the furries (wow, *that* was cool... I lost the floppies.. snif)
Squeak !!
Lemmings ! (all but 3)
So many more !!
But I now realize that it's harder than I imagined.
I mean, even a little crap like "nitro" (remember ? Kinda early micromachines) kept me playing 4 days. Oops up, stupid things like that I love.. I forgot a great deal of them...
I still remember booting my 1st shareware game... The Jay Miner Gang were also gamers (remember that "guru meditation" was really a game, first ?), and their dream lives on.
-
@Viking
I'll check that one out. Pinball on the 64 would
be interesting.

That one rocks! Even the sound and the music was better than average. (If I don't mistake the sound with the sound from another game. Haven't played it for about 10 years.)
-
Napalm! HBMonopoly! dynAMIte! Those are the only games I've played a lot last years. With two or more players of course.
Then some older ones which have took hours with friends: WormsDC, Nitro, Supercars2, Empire, Laser Squad, SWIV, Turboraketti, Diamond Caves 2.

B17 wasn`t very buggy at all. Just didn`t seem finished. There was a few features which didn`t work. I doubt that was down to bugs. Just wasn`t finished. Things like fighter escort never worked. Not for me at least.
